In Tantra one worship
Sakti (Power), that is, God in Mother-form as the Supreme Power, which creates,
sustains and withdraws the Universe. God is Mother to the Tantrika who worships
Her Lotus Feet.
Worshiping her feet and the Mother of the home will produce better result, thus
one has to learn to worship the Feet of the Divine Mother within the home (one’s
partner) or one's Mother. In Tantra women are known as Mother Lakshmi of the householder. She is
the light of the home. She is the supreme authority of the home.
To enjoy the love of Mother Goddess we must first see the image of Her in all women,
and learn to worship her as Mother Goddess.
At the same time all women must begin to feel and believe that she is the Great
Mother Goddess. When she believes, she become one. The is another very important
factor, she has to act as one. I have been on the path of Tantra for the past
three years, and progressing very slowly.
There is no Sakti without Siva and no Siva without
Shakti. They are inseparable
like the moon and moonlight. Siva and Sakthi are inseparable, so to should men
and women, be inseparable. It is through this unity can there be harmony on
Earth. Let us together build this world to be a beautiful place to live in
through Sakthi Worship.
Sakthi is the One Mother Goddess, creator of all things. From her everything
that exists was born, to her all will return. Gods, Human, animals, plants,
galaxies, stars, seas and mountains are all her creation. All things and actions
are sustained by her, the primeval energy of the universe that drives all divine
and cosmic evolution. She gives life and takes it. She is known by untold
numbers of names and honored in countless shrines She is Parvati, the great
Goddess of the Tantric. She is the One with whom all creation begins, and her
pet name is Kali, the form in which we at IFC worship her and all women.
Lingam and Yoni signify the penis and the vulva, the conjoined creative powers
of the Goddess and god. Without Sakthi (woman) there is no Siva (man), and no
Siva without Sakthi. Siva is the creative principle, the spark, that arises out
of the all-nothingness of the primordial Mother.
The lingam and the yoni, joined in perfect balance, symbolize the harmony of the
cosmos. The linga-yoni image can be found as Shiva-lingam carved in stone dated
back to the Neolithic, or highly
Since all female, human and animal, represent the Mother, it is the Mother
herself who bleeds, her life flowing away out unto the world to create new
generations of humans and animals. If her strength and energies are not
replaced, the Mother may grow weak and die.
In India the “yoni” of the Mother Goddess remains the most revered of all sacred
icons. All women must give high reverence to their Yoni, as given the Yoni of
the Mother Goddess.
Blood is the sacred life force, not for nothing are all holy figurines from the
stone age onwards colored with red pigments. The lost of blood is an offering by
the female of her vital life force. Before a woman can conceive, she must first
bleed. The monthly moon blood represent her fertility and life, to bear a child.
The moon-blood is
known as "kundapuspa", means "flower of the holy well".
The holy places of the Great Goddess
are known as yoni pithas, and found all over India. At this sites nature it self
seems to have assumed the form of the Goddess's sacred symbol. The most famous
of these symbols is that of Kamakhya in the district of Assam.
We can go on speaking about the worship of the Great Goddess,
and the sacredness of the Yoni, and
woman in society.
We invite all women
who want to become the Great Goddess to first consider their Yoni sacredness,
and then seek to heal it.
