Most so call health conscious people cycle, they swim and kilojoules count
like there's no tomorrow. How healthy can they really claim to be?
When it comes to being healthy, one has to great persona, age well and avoid sickness, this very few do.
In to-day's society people place high importance on physical and beauty and its standard dictated by the media. Workout center are often attract great audience for their impressive commitment to health and physical fitness. People is the show business especially women are lauded as the epitome of beauty, even though many of them exist on a diet of TV dinners, cigarettes and coffee.
Most of the people we have looked at, are missing a more holistic and sustainable sense of wellbeing!
As an International presenter and professional health therapist, I have often
come across people who claim that they are in perfect health, but by observing
their Navel, most often I find that they are not at all healthy. All that they
are, just gym junkies, but often the rest of their life is stuffed. Having
perfect shape but cells infected with illness prone cells.
Most of them have hot bodies, but are not able to maintain happy relationships
or interact socially without using artificial stimulants. They are what I call
hot body with infested cells, with emotional memories that can manifest in the
body as illnesses or even a Tumor, breast cancer in women and prostrate cancer
in men, chronic fatigue, depression, and menstrual disorder. In my works I have
found that Models and Actress are the worst effected with this way of life, HOT
BODY, BAD HEALTH! Down the line come fitness instructors, then sportspeople and
the last but not least Yoga Teacher in the western world.
To maintain long-term fitness, there has to be a balance, and centeredness. Just
focusing on physical health may work for a while, but on the long run anything
one ignores in other areas of one's life will catch up... To be healthy one has
to focus on personal health, vitality and emotional wellbeing.
