This necessitated the need to establish a behavior that allows different individuals to perform their roles within a framework of the species.
Thus came about the birth of Kama Sutra and Tantra. The sages channeled this knowledge from the universal knowledge or Aathi Para Sakthi or Lord Shiva or God whatever one prefers to call the Universal Creative Force as.

In the old days one prepares oneself to be married, thus being able to have a harmonious and spiritual home. And women were revered as Mother Lakshmi of the home, she bring light into the Home.
In the western world and in some parts of India, the coming of Christian Religion has taken away the knowledge enjoyed by the Greek and other all-old culture by making sex a bad word instead of seeing it as a Divine ART, union of the masculine and feminine principle and a form of expressing Love and Joy

Women never occupied an inferior position in Tantric circles, religion, politics or spiritual development in India and other Asian countries where Tantra is practiced to its true meaning. The Sastras never called them chattels that can be disposed of by man at their sweet will and pleasure unlike in the modernized world where women had to fight to be recognized. This fight has brought about an underlying stress between men and women.
Some of the wrongly informed and superficial women are thundering their ill advised orations from the platforms and attributing motives which have never been sanctioned by the Sastras or approved by the thoughtful Tantrika's that women are inferior. How can one who bring life forth into this world be considered inferior?

Male and female are but two aspects, or two sides of the same coin. Hence it is natural for them to be united. For, otherwise there would be incompleteness, nay it would be paradise Lost.
The paradise has been loss and unless women learn that they are a Divine Goddess and that they have a very important role, to bring harmony to this Earth. Men's interest in strengthening his personal relationship only has brought about sexual frustration, impotency, wet dreams and premature ejaculation. When the fertility of the earth has gone and yields a poor harvest, when the clouds yield scanty rain, and trees give meager fruit, then know that the Kali Age has become strong (53). When brothers, relatives, and companions, prompted by the desire for some trifle, will strike one another, then, know that the Kali Age has become strong (54). Most men have only now realized the sexual imbalance, which was obvious from the start of creation. Women can sexually receive her man for as long as she pleases. Women's sensual energy is inexhaustible.
Men lovemaking is limited to the period he could hold his erection, which with most men is limited. Not realizing the limitation both men and women resort to adultery seeking for the unknown pleasure known as orgasm. Love energy is the only energy that can create orgasm even without sex. By living correctly, observing the proper rites you gained a better life in the next birth. Thus one moves gradually towards returning to ULTIMATE RELEASE from birth and death.
